ZINC OINTMENT

We created this ointment at a time when our children and I were experiencing a period of constant carouseling around the care of their permanently irritated bottoms and fronts. We wanted to make sure we didn't put anything bad on their delicate skin. At the same time, we were looking for a combination of substances that would be as simple as possible and really effective in order to protect children from unpleasant and painful rashes. Succeeded. This fine ointment was created, which creates a thin caring and protective film on the skin when only a minimal amount is applied. With a special production method, we have ensured its texture so that it spreads easily and prevents further unwanted irritation of the damaged skin.

You can use the ointment every day as needed, even for fresh newborns. Its composition is very simple, it intentionally does not contain any aromatic or potentially irritating ingredients. It is therefore suitable even for the most delicate and sensitive skin. The basic ingredient is zinc oxide, a natural mineral characterized by its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and slightly astringent effects. The healing and protective effects of zinc are supported by fine jojoba oil and pure, certified sheep lanolin (does not contain residues of pesticides or other unwanted substances).

ACTIVE SUBSTANCE

Jojoba oil LZS, BIO
This oil, which has been highly valued for a long time, is characterized by a unique ratio of unsaturated fatty acids, which keep the skin hydrated and support its defenses. It is ideal even for the most sensitive and problematic skin.

Lanolin
Lanolin is a fat that naturally protects sheep skin from adverse weather conditions, especially from moisture, irritation, but also from unwanted bacteria. Just as it cares for the sheep's skin, it also helps us. It is obtained by centrifugation from the water in which sheep's wool was washed before its further processing. We use only very pure, certified pharmaceutical-grade lanolin without any unwanted residues (e.g. pesticides) in our products.

Beeswax
We add it to the balm for its excellent physical properties. Beeswax ensures an ideal consistency and pleasant spreadability so that a light protective film remains on the skin. We only use wax certified for pharmaceutical purposes, completely pure without unwanted additives, such as paraffin.

Zinc oxide
Zinc oxide occurs in nature in the form of a mineral. With its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and slightly astringent effects, it significantly supports healing. It creates a fine film on the skin that helps protect it from harmful external influences (especially from UV radiation and its negative effects). It is very gentle, non-irritating and well tolerated by even the most sensitive skin. We only use natural zinc oxide in the purest food and pharmaceutical quality without nano-particles.

Natural vitamin E or tocopherol
Vitamin E is a relatively strong antioxidant, so it helps the skin deal with free radicals and energy from UV radiation. Thanks to this property, it has the function of a preservative in natural cosmetic products, as it extends their lifespan. We use only the highest quality tocopherol, extracted from GMO free sunflower oil.

RECOMMENDED USE

Apply the ointment in a thin layer several times a day as needed on clean and dry skin in the area of ​​diapers or in places where there is steam (e.g. skin folds in the armpits, under the knees, etc.). Always reach into the cup only with a clean hand.

Our tip: Even adults will appreciate the healing and soothing effects of the ointment (for example, our men, passionate cyclists, always carry it in their travel KPZ).

Our recommendation: If you are satisfied with the ointment, then do not hesitate to invest in a smaller (30 ml) or larger (180 ml) package. The smaller one will always travel with you and as soon as you run out, you can easily refill it with a clean spoon from the larger one that is fully used at home. In the end, you will save money and even help nature from the unnecessary production of other packaging waste.
